Should I have one train station for all iron ore trains or multiple
Also how many train stations do I need for each iron ore train? That's the wrong question. It's throughput, not trains, that determine how large of a station you'll need. My rule of thumb is that for each cargo wagon of length, a station can comfortably keep two belts full. So an 8 car station can fill 16 belts easily.

Riding the iron ore train, Mauritania (Dec 2021) : travel
I think in total I spent around 17/18 hours on the train. I hopped on in Fderik which is near Zouerat in the afternoon, so I had a few hours of sun left. I packed only some cookies for food and juice + 2 bottles of water. I had 5 layers of clothing in the night, a sleeping bag + skiing goggles, a balaclava with a mask underneath and a hat.
